Lori Taylor is a wild birther, an unorthodox Doctor of Philosophy, and a wry CEO. After years of academia, she looked for a different kind of creativity. Upon receiving her Ph.D. the week her boy baby was born, she made the abrupt switch from research and writing to making beautiful diapers and building a business around them. With Fuzbaby, her specialty has been making the mundane astonishingly beautiful.
She is and has been archivist, folklorist, knitter, music scholar, cultural worker, traveler, university teacher, editor, artist, wise woman, political opinionator, website content writer, business optimizer, nonprofit starter, homebirth activist, pink-haired punk rocker, designer, and elemental anarchist. That is in her spare time. Still, most of her time she spends being mama to her cuddly babies and companion to her green man.
